I am currently writing my fourth book, La Familia Hayburg: Down Under, and am researching the start up of a very successful company in Australia, Wayward Bus (www.waywardbus.com.au), which has a significant part in the story. I needed to look further into the first tour in 1994, and found out that a VW combi van was used. That has led me to your site. How interesting!
I now have a new perspective and understanding. Recalling 30 or 40 years ago in the USA, those VW buses were extremely practical, albeit loud. Thanks for the pix on your site!--"Juanito Hayburg"
