Our third visit to Vanfest in Bertie our 1973 Westfalia Continental van travelling up from deepest Cornwall - broke down with starter motor probs at the service station but that's par for the course and we're laid back old hippies at heart! Very interesting to note what you've written about Campervan Crazy. I'd planned to sneak off and buy a copy as an early Christmas pressie for my other half but they'd sold out by the Sunday. Will definitely look out for your entry when I get a copy. Got our programme here now - congrats for winning the cover comp. Talking of comps, my partner Martin won the Cooking in a Camper this year. Three courses for two people on two gas rings in one hour - rather him than me. I enjoyed eating it though! They posted the prize 'cos we couldn't hang aroun until late on the Sunday and were very surprised to find it included a Just Kampers hamper, £50 and a cup! On the subject of publications, we too have had photos/details taken for a Cornwall VW owners book which a local photographer is putting together. Looking forward to seeing it published. Don't know if you ever get down this way to either Run to the Sun or Cornwall Jamboree (we were crew this year and working on the gates, club shop etc) but will look out for your van in the future!
