When you subscribe to the calendar, it'll appear in the sidebar in iCal like this (you can rename it to suit you):
When you add it it, iCal will, by default, suggest removing To Do Items and alarms. I suggest unchecking the alarm option - all events in the calendar will come with a 2-week notice alarm.
Likewise, you might want to set a suitable refresh rate (although it will refresh automatically when you fire up iCal
Any dates that get added to this calendar will appear on your iCal calendar. Great, huh?
